Manager of Data Management Unit

PhD in natural and applied sciences with experience in the analysis of large biological, climatic and cartographic databases. My research focuses mainly on understanding the processes that determine the distribution of species and studying different types of deficiencies in different databases.

Laura Triginer Llabres
Bioinformatician

Graduated in Telecommunications and with a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. Knowledge of viruses and viral taxonomy. Experience in genome assembly, execution and creation of bioinformatics pipelines. Her experience in different fields makes her a methodical and versatile person, very interested in learning and being able to contribute with her knowledge to the projects that come to the Centre.

Graduated in Biology, with a Master in marine biology. Specialized in taxonomy, anatomy and diversity of marine annelids. Experience in the collection, fixation and conservation of marine animals and in different techniques, including DNA extraction and amplification, Optical Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Histology and Microcomputed Tomography.
